Money for school?

Has anyone heard of prosper.com? Is it legit? I need to pay for my tuition. I have no credit and no co-signer. I can't get any scholarships because I don't have a high GPA. My mom won't fill out a FAFSA for me either. I'm in desperate need for some money...Is www.prosper.com the way to go?
