What to do about my police ticket?

I recevied a police ticket while driving for an improper turn. The ticket said that it was 2 demerit points on it, so I took it to a traffic ticket specialist and he told me that the decision in court was I was convicted but it was reduced to no demerit points and just a fine that I had to pay. Will my insurance be affected?
