Ok i need some help, my girlfriend wants to get a car because shes getting her license in september and?

the problem is everyone out of her friends and even i have a car, im 17 and shes going to turn 17 september 3rd, my dad gave me his honda and her best friend megan just got a brand new car, but my girlfriend also doesnt have much money shes lower cl but it doesnt matter cause i love her anyways, now shes sooo upset because she cant get a car. shes lives with her mom bec her dad ped away. idk what to do, she told me tonight shes going to take a shower so she can shrivel up and die, i feel so bad for her, and im not a good speaker when it comes to making people feel better, how can i make her happy, what can i do to cheer her up anyone got any ideas, thanks alot :]]
