What would this career be?

Im going to university to get a BA in Communications... my ultimate career goal would be to be one of those people who at events such as skateboarding competitions or big X games competitions who are part of other companies like Roxy or Burton (to name one people would probably know) who like hype everyone up and give away free stuff and have tents and stuff.... what are those people called.. or what is that career.?? its been bugging me for so long lol and when people ask me what i want to do i have to give them this loooooooonnnngggg explanation... I know there is a word for these people.. i just don't know what it is!
