When the Catholic Church apoligized?

Personally I think the fact that the Catholic Church's official position was that jews were responsible for the death of jesus until like 1963 was a lot worse than the whole mary magdalen thing. Also the lie that limbo existed for the better part of 2000 years. I mean for an organization headed by an infallible leader, they've made a lot of major mistakes.
