Would you let your 17 year old son get a Tattoo husband thinks its a great idea....?

My 17 year old son and his girlfriend have a 2month old son there working a combined 4 jobs because they don't want our help our her parents help and which i think is fine and there taking responsibility for it.Well my son wants to get a tattoo of his son's footprints put on his shoulder blade and then his hand prints put on the other shoulder blade. I am not sure if this is a good idea and to be honest i don't want him to do it. Because Tattoo are so expensive to get removed and can hinder you from getting jobs and such but my husband thinks its a good idea and that we should let him do it so he can express his love for his son. Would you let your son do it? Advice?
